The development of infrared materials and devices can be seen from the application of infrared technology in the civil field. The continuous expansion of system-level product categories and mass production scale drives the cost reduction of infrared devices. This development trend not only promotes the continuous exploration of more application uses of infrared technology in the civil field, but also promotes the development of the basic industry that is led by this technology itself. From the aspect of material, the base of optical material and related data is weak. The weak foundation of development, production technology and measurement has a certain restricting effect on the scale development of infrared system products. How to improve the competitiveness of domestic infrared industry and move towards the large-scale development of infrared system products is a problem that needs to be solved in the process of industrialization development.
