Spectra is one of the fundamental properties of matter and is considered the fingerprint of matter. Spectral imaging Technological convergence spectral detection and imaging technology, which can not only perceive the objective existence of substances, but also understand the composition of substances, so as to achieve comprehensive detection and recognition of target characteristics. It is known as a leap in the development history of Optical instrument. Spectral imaging is mainly divided into three categories: multispectral imaging, hyperspectral imaging, and hyperspectral imaging. In recent years, due to the rapid growth of the application market for spectral analysis, the demand for portable and integrated spectrometers to reduce size, cost, and power consumption has prioritized the demand for improving performance. Therefore, the miniaturization of spectrometers has attracted widespread attention. The application potential of spectral imaging and micro spectrometers is enormous, with core technologies such as computational coding, spatial heterodyne, on chip spectroscopy, and optical path multiplexing becoming increasingly mature, and manufacturing costs continuously decreasing. In addition to being widely used in fields such as food safety, biomedicine, environmental monitoring, and machine vision. There is also a hope to "carry forward" and open up new "horizons" in the field of consumer electronics such as smartphones, tablets, wearable devices, smart appliances, drones, robots, etc.
On September 6, 2023, the Global Precision Optics Intelligent Manufacturing Forum held its first "Micro Spectral Imaging Technology and Application Forum". The seminar will invite well-known enterprises, experts and scholars, and spectral technology application end enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the spectral industry chain to discuss topics such as core components of spectral imaging, advanced spectral imaging technology and application direction, development path of spectral miniaturization, design and preparation of spectrometers, and spectral detection technology, And its application prospects in consumer electronics, machine vision, environmental monitoring, agriculture and food safety, medical and other fields.
