In the past decade, laser technology has deeply penetrated core fields such as industrial manufacturing, medical health, and new energy with revolutionary innovations. According to Precedence Research, the global laser market size will exceed 25.92 billion US dollars by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of more than double digits. The market size of China's laser industry will continue to maintain rapid growth, to 2028, China's laser industry scale or more than 650 billion yuan, this growth not only from the traditional industrial processing of high-precision, high-efficiency demand blowout, but also benefit from aerospace, automotive manufacturing, medical devices, ultrafine laser micro-processing and other frontier scenes outbreak. Laser technology is jumping from "tool-based products" to "strategic technology ecology", constantly forging new quality productivity for the industry and activating the high-quality development of the industry.
In 2025, the laser industry will usher in three major disruptive variables: 1) Material innovation: mass production of gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor lasers, which will drive down the cost of consumer electronics and vehicle lidar by 40%; 2) Digital and intelligent technology integration: laser equipment manufacturing is moving in the direction of intelligence.
