As one of the core technologies in advanced manufacturing, laser micro- and nano-processing is profoundly changing the landscape of high-end manufacturing with its high precision, high efficiency, and non-contact characteristics. With the rapid development of fields such as microelectronics, biomedicine, aerospace, and new energy, the demand for precision manufacturing is growing. Consequently, laser micro- and nano-processing technology has shown great application potential in microstructure manufacturing, surface treatment, and material modification. For example, ultrafast laser technologies, such as femtosecond and picosecond lasers, use extremely short pulses to achieve high-precision, low-thermal-effect micro- and nano-processing, leading to breakthroughs in micro-hole processing, microstructure manufacturing, and internal modification of transparent materials. Furthermore, laser nanomanufacturing technology utilizes near-field optical effects or the surface plasmon enhancement effect to achieve nano-level machining accuracy. These core technologies and achievements have not only accelerated the rapid development of laser micro- and nano-processing but have also brought revolutionary changes to high-end manufacturing, healthcare, and new energy fields.
The "Laser Micro and Nano Processing Advanced Manufacturing Forum" aims to bring together enterprises, experts from scientific research institutes and industry leaders in the laser field to discuss the technological frontier, build a high-level exchange platform for the innovation and application of laser micro and nano processing technology, and help China's high-end manufacturing industry to a new height.
