Optical technologies are increasingly vital in modern medicine, driving life science research and clinical diagnosis toward greater precision and minimal invasiveness. Among the most promising frontiers are brain‑science imaging and endoscopy, both showing immense potential for identifying diseases and improving clinical outcomes.

The Brain Science Photoacoustic Imaging Session focuses on the industrialization of this high‑contrast, high‑resolution technique, now demonstrating transformative potential in brain tumors, stroke, and neurodegenerative diseases. The field is rapidly advancing toward higher resolution and multimodal fusion—combining photoacoustic imaging with ultrasound, fluorescence microscopy, and AI algorithms to enable more comprehensive, real‑time assessment of brain tissue and superficial lesions.

The Endoscopic Imaging Technology Session explores how endoscopy is evolving toward greater clarity, intelligence, and ease of use, now integrating modalities such as OCT and confocal laser endomicroscopy. The core trend is the deep fusion of optical hardware and AI algorithms for real‑time image analysis, providing clinical decision support that significantly improves diagnostic accuracy and efficiency.

On September 10, 2026, the “Medical Imaging Technology Forum” will convene experts from hospitals, device manufacturers, and AI‑healthcare companies to jointly explore the full‑chain challenges and opportunities from fundamental innovation to clinical translation.
