In the era of the digital economy, intelligent computing centers have become the critical infrastructure for the development of enterprises. Large models require massive computing power, massive computing power calls for large clusters, and large clusters rely on large networks. Thus, distributed intelligent computing centers will inevitably become a development trend. Currently, as the number of intelligent computing cards reaches thousands or even tens of thousands, the required bandwidth is often as high as hundreds of terabits or even over petabits. The characteristics of large bandwidth, high reliability and high efficiency of optical transmission systems are the keys to ensuring high computing efficiency in distributed training. The coordinated scheduling of computing power that is cross-regional, cross-level and cross-entity with high reliability has become an inevitable choice for the industry and also a concrete manifestation of the "strengthening computing with networks" technical route.
This forum will focus on how to address the coordinated and scheduled computing power among intelligent computing centers that is cross-regional, cross-level, cross-entity and highly reliable, the application of AI in optical transport networks, as well as the architecture and key technologies of intelligent optical networks.
