Micronano optics is one of the most active fields in the development of optical technology. It combines the cutting-edge achievements of photonics and micro and nano technology, mainly studying optical phenomena at the micron and even nano scale. Micro-nano optical components have many advantages such as small size, light weight, flexible design, easy array and batch replication, which help to form a new type of optical system and realize more possibilities. At present, micro and nano optical components have been successfully applied in various fields of modern optics, and have very important application prospects in many fields such as sensing and imaging, display and lighting, communication and interconnection.

In order to further promote the rapid development of precision optics itself and its industrial integration in the application field, on April 22-23, 2024, "2024 China (Chengdu) International Precision Optics and Machine Vision Technology and Application Conference" invited well-known enterprises and scientific research institutes/universities in the industrial chain. From the micro and nano optics, machine vision, optical film technology update and application, around micro and nano optics innovation technology and application, ultra-precision micro and nano processing technology and optical inspection, machine vision and semiconductor combination, optical film design, manufacturing and application of four topics are discussed in depth.
