Facing of the current development trend of power line to intelligent operation and maintenance, infrared technology has become an important tool for power system and equipment inspection and maintenance. With the continuous expansion of the scale of China's power grid, the requirement of power grid automation detection technology is becoming higher and higher. In this information age, maintaining the reliability of power systems is critical, and infrared thermal imaging technology provides an advanced and non-invasive way to achieve this. Infrared thermal imaging technology is a non-contact, safe and reliable, fast and efficient, economic and environmental protection online detection method, which has been widely used in the field of insulation detection of power equipment. In the process of intelligent transmission, the infrared thermal imager mainly plays the role of investigation, especially in the prevention and control of fire. In the process of inspection, the thermal imaging channel can intelligently search the heat source, quickly find the abnormal heat source and conduct the coaxial positioning of the fire point through the visible light channel. The automatic alarm function is turned on for the prone hot spot. When the temperature exceeds the preset value, the system will automatically alarm for preventive reminder, which greatly improves the efficiency and quality of infrared temperature measurement of the transmission line. Effectively improve the level of transmission intelligent operation and maintenance. With the rapid advancement of UAV inspection work, it not only makes up for the Angle limitations of manual temperature measurement, but also has high data accuracy, which can effectively improve the accuracy of hidden danger investigation and greatly improve the overall work efficiency. Strengthen the exploration of the field of intelligent operation and inspection of drones, systematize, professionalize and normalize the inspection work in live detection such as infrared temperature measurement, and truly achieve all-weather "unattended" intelligent inspection has become particularly critical.
