Biooptical imaging technology is an important means in the field of biomedical research. Its role is increasingly prominent. By using high-precision optical technology, doctors can obtain high-quality biological images of humans or animals without damaging biological tissue. This provides a powerful tool for studying the true workings and structure of biological systems, as well as identifying and quantifying the effects of disease. For example, optical coherence tomography (OCT) can be used in ophthalmology to diagnose various eye diseases, and can also be used in cardiovascular imaging to achieve high-resolution imaging of living tissues, providing a very valuable means for diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Endoscopy technology transmits the image of the whole endoscope microscope to the observation instrument through optical imaging technology, which can observe the condition of the organ in real time, and provide important information for the clinician to diagnose, treat and operate. The fluorescence intensity images of medical instruments, molecules and cells can be obtained through the processing of light signals by induction fluorescence imaging. It can be used to detect symptoms such as tumors, inflammation and autoimmune diseases, providing a non-invasive means for clinical diagnosis.
In recent years, China's scientific research institutions and companies related to the research and development of biooptical imaging products have developed rapidly. New technologies, new products, new components, and new applications are constantly being launched, and market demand is also showing a rapid development. To this end, on September 12, 2024, the "Biomedical Photonics and Imaging Technology Forum" will invite from hospitals, medical endoscope system manufacturers, OCT imaging equipment manufacturers, fluorescence imaging technology equipment manufacturers, CMOS manufacturers and related field experts. To discuss the technical difficulties, hot spots and challenges of medical endoscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), induction fluorescence imaging and other cutting-edge medical imaging technologies in clinical application.
